In my family, we love to celebrate with doughnuts. For Kylie and my high school graduation, we ordered a ton of Krispy Kreme and again for my 20th birthday party! Keep scrolling to see where I give in to my sweet tooth.
Blue Star, in Venice, originally comes from Portland and has the most delicious and fresh doughnuts. I'm a fan of the Hard Apple Cider Fritter.
You can't go wrong with anything at SK Donuts. From crispy old-fashioned to red velvet, everything is amazing. Plus, it's open 24/7 to satisfy any late-night cravings.
Cofax on Fairfax (one of my favorite streets in LA) is the best. It's super simple—it serves coffee, breakfast burritos and the best doughnuts. The cornflake doughnut is definitely where it's at.
Krispy Kreme is the ultimate classic. Even though there are locations all throughout the country, it's my family's go-to in LA. You have to go when the hot light is on so they're all gooey and warm. Mmm.
Balthazar is an amazing French restaurant in NYC. But, next door, their bakery serves up some incredible pastries. And, their doughnuts are not to be messed with. The pistachio is hands down the best.
With three locations in NYC, Doughnuttery has you covered in the city. And, while they're mini in size, they pack a lot of punch taste-wise (and you won't feel guilty when you eat the whole dozen!).
Dominique Ansel Bakery is the creator of the super popular "cronut" (croissant + doughnut). It's no surprise why people were lining up for blocks to order one!
Crosstown Doughnuts is London's most popular doughnut shop. They have really creative and interesting flavors, like matcha and salted caramel banana.
Dum Dum Donutterie has a location inside of Harrods department store making it too easy to eat sweets while shopping, lol. They have tons of different filled doughnuts as well as variations on the cronut, like a raspberry and cream one.
Even though Paris has no shortage of amazing pastries, Boneshaker Doughnuts is a standout when I'm really craving a treat. Made in small batches and with super fresh ingredients, you can't go wrong with any—but the maple bacon is to die for.
Boulangerie Julien is a delicious pastry shop right by the Louvre in Paris. The beignets are a must-order.
