It's no secret that I'm a big tea drinker—I have about a million cups every day, lol. So of course, high tea and tea shops are my favorite. Here are the spots I go to in LA, New York, London and Paris!
My favorite coffee shop in LA, Alfred, opened a tea shop across the street from their Melrose Place location. It's super cute and everything is pink. They have really interesting teas, too. You have to try their signature Pink Drink—it's like a healthy strawberry milkshake!
If you want a traditional high tea in LA, The Peninsula in Beverly Hills is the place to do it. So swanky. There's even a harpist playing while you sip.
For a more modern afternoon tea, American Tea Room downtown is really nice. They have so many different types of tea, it's kind of insane. Plus, the outdoor seating is so pretty.
The food at Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air during high tea is so amazing that you might forget you came for the tea. I could have this every day.
If you haven't had matcha tea yet, prepare to have your life changed. It's a Japanese green tea with a bunch of health benefits—and it's delicious. This cute shop in NYC has the yummiest matcha-infused everything (including a frozen soft-serve). They also have the coolest latté art ever.
Lady Mendl's Tea Salon is such a hidden gem in the city—you can only find it with the little teacup engraved placard next to the front door. There are always fresh flowers everywhere and they serve the yummiest finger food.
Claridge's in London's Mayfair neighborhood serves the most magical afternoon tea in the city. Their tea is sourced from all around the world and is served in their iconic jade-and-white striped china. So good.
The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at Sanderson Hotel is so fun. All the table settings are "Alice in Wonderland"-themed and tea is served in the cutest little garden.
Sketch is definitely the coolest place in the world to get tea. Not only is space is super funky and the walls filled with clever artwork but the bathroom is insane! Each toilet has its own separate pod and the ceilings are lit up. It's the perfect futuristic vibe for a selfie.
I love to grab a cup of tea at Le Galerie at my favorite hotel in Paris, Four Seasons George V. Between the madness of fashion shows, it's the perfect place to meet up with a friend, people-watch and sip tea.
Tea at Restaurant Le Dalí is a surrealist dream come to life. Not only is the interior so chic, but the pastries are so yummy.
The tea room at Angelina is definitely the most famous one in Paris. Even though the tea is delicious, you need to order their hot chocolate, too.
